Carnegie Hall is a special place. 

 

Since it opened, "...its celebrated performers have included Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Ignace Jan Paderewski, Leonard Bernstein and Walter Damrosch, Jascha Heifetz and Vladimir Horowitz, Leopold Stokowski and Gustav Mahler, Benny Goodman and Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland, Clarence Darrow and Lenny Bruce, and, in their only known duet performance, Isaac Stern and Jack Benny."  (NY Times, May 19, 1985)  

 

In May of 2010, Paul conducted the New York premiere of "And None Shall Be Afraid" at Carnegie Hall.  In 2023, Aitken has again been invited to present a concert in this special place.
